Help, from a human.
e0 is early and we read everything. Below are the questions that come up most — and two ways to reach us directly. No bots on this end.

Report from inside the app
If e0 ever crashes, it offers to send the error report on your next launch — the log only, never your content, and only if you tap send. That’s the fastest way to get a fix to you.
Common questions
The things people ask first.
Do I need an account?
No. There’s no sign-up, no login, no email required to use e0. Your conversations and settings live on your device.
What are the four ways it runs?
On-device (fully offline, nothing leaves), your mesh (your own Macs/servers over your network), e0 Fleet (e0’s own comped machines), and e0 Cloud / your own keys (a hosted model, by explicit choice). The model pill at the top always shows which one is answering. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what travels where.
Does my data leave my device?
On-device and mesh, no — it stays on hardware you own. The cloud tiers (e0 Cloud and your own keys) do send your prompt off-device to answer it, and the app labels them plainly before you use them. e0 has no account, no ads, and no third-party analytics, and never sells your data.
My first message errored / no model is answering.
This usually means no model is reachable yet. e0 will fall back to a comped cloud model when your fleet isn’t up; if you’re fully offline, download an on-device model from Models → On-device and it’ll work with no network at all.
How do I run a model on my own machines (the mesh)?
Install the desktop app on a Mac, PC, or server, and pair it from your phone under More → Devices & Sync. Those machines then host models your phone can reach over your network.
How do updates work?
The app checks for new versions and offers them in-app. On iOS, updates come through TestFlight during the beta; the desktop app updates itself. Nothing installs without you.
Is it really free right now?
Yes — the e0 fleet and a starting amount of e0 cloud are comped as a Founder’s Gift while we test. It’s a gift, not a paid plan; if paid tiers arrive later, we’ll tell you clearly before anything is charged.
How do I delete my data?
Everything is local, so deleting a conversation removes it, and uninstalling the app removes all of it. There’s no server-side copy to ask us to erase.
